Quickwrite - Ducks Happy Ending

It was a nice summer day and ducky the duck decided to take her little ducklings out for a walk around the beautiful city of Brooklyn. but the one thing that no one knew about ducky the duck is she would tourture all the baby ducks, except for the one duck, her favourite of them all Martin Luther Quack. the other ducks knew they had to make their escapce and go on to live their own normal lives so when they were walking over the sewer the sneaky and very intellegent brother Mikey noticed that there was an exaust pipe from a car right above the sewer and that they could pretend as though they had fallen into the sewer and quickly jump up into the exhuast pipe of the car, so Mikey told his brothers and sisters quickly and they acted on their plan! It ended up working!! Mikey and all of his brothers and sister were able to go on living there own live becoming writers, constuction managers and stay at home moms. ducky the duck later killed Martin Luther Quack in anger of her ducklings leaving and then the ducky cops came and arrested her ducky the duck is still in quack prision to this day.

Quickwrite - Robot

If I were to have a robot servant in the future the first thing I would make sure it could do is cook for me as I am the worst cook ever, it would also play lacrosse and love to party. I would also make sure it would have a built in music player so I could bump some tunes at any time. Its voice would be the voice of Morgan Freeman because that would be every neat !

Six word memoirs #8

I chose this photo because ever since I started watching hockey I've always had such a love for the Colorado Avalanche. I find it crazy how a hockey team like the Avs can effect my mood so much so I found it nessesary to add them to my six word memoirs and they have had a great start to the season as they are now 4-0 nobody would have expected that from them to start the season. In this picture I tried a couple different text choices but I found this one and thought it looked amazing I decided to and no punctuation to show that my love for my favourite hockey team is endless and won't ever stop. I also changed avalanche to there nickname the Avs to shorten the text.

Let's start by saying the picture and words pretty much sum this one up, I had to put a picture with my little sister up. I chose to use the finger paint text because it goes with how young my sister is and I made the letters red because I thought of red as a colour that shows love and like it says she annoys me but I do love her.

I had to use this embarrassing picture of myself because in all my years of school I don't think I've ever taken a good school picture. I added the three dots after "pictures" to make the photo more funny. I had some troubles with the picture because I took it and the light in my living room was reflecting in and it made the periods a bit harder to see but I think it turned out alright. 

Six word memoirs #5

This picture shows me and a bunch of my best friends after a bit of a crazy, wet and muddy weekend at the cabin. I chose to use this picture because I wanted to include my best friends in one of my six word memoirs and in this picture we are all making stupid faces which really shows our personalities. I had trouble finding a colour that would stand out for the words but I eventually tried yellow and although it doesn't blend ever well or add to the picture at least you are able to see the words.

When it comes to my life, playing lacrosse has been a huge part of it. Although I admit my love for the sport is not exactly at the same level it used to be I will always love the sport because if it wasn't for lacrosse I wouldn't have a bunch of the friends I have today. In this picture I split the words up to add more of an effect and to make the reader visualize the meaning behind it. I also made the letters green to match the jerseys and I used the word "lax" instead of "lacrosse" to save some space every true lacrosse player will still understand what "lax" means.

This picture I had to choose for one of my six word memoirs as these guys really are my second family. I made the bottom of the picture darker and then as you start to look at the team it becomes brighter, I thought that added more of a dramatic effect and got my point across well. I also made sure to make the writing blue like the blue in our jerseys so it looked better and connected the team with the writing.

In this picture you see a young man by the name of Tyler crying, I thought this picture resembled the six words perfectly. The picture was the best quality as I had to zoom in to cut the two other people out of the picture, doing so made the pictures quality awful but I did some editing and I think I was able to make it turn out alright.

I chose to use this photo because it displays my love for my school, as I took this picture people were walking by saying " ew why would you lay on the floor mat " and all I had to say was " when you love your school as much as I do you will understand". I wanted to have the logo behind me to show my husky pride. I split the the words up so when people would read it, it would add more of a dramatic effect.
